BTS Tours have operated excursions into the Daintree rainforest and Mossman Gorge since 1985. The full day Daintree Rainforest tour explores the different habitats that combine in the creation and sustainability of the lowland tropical rainforest environment.
Activities on the full day tour include Canoeing a rainforest stream, walking in the forest with a naturalist guide, spotting crocodiles on a wildlife river cruise, a BBQ lunch next to an exotic swimming lagoon and strolling on a forest fringed beach at near Cape Tribulation.
For those with limited time available, BTS also operates a 2 hour guided rainforest walk from Port Douglas into the Mossman Gorge. The guided walk includes refreshments and free time to enjoy a swim in the clear rock pools.
